Francis House
The Fajr Club recently organised a charity fitness class in support of Francis House Children's Hospice. A group of 20 brothers came together, to participate in this engaging session, with all proceeds directed to the hospice.
Francis House is a vital resource in the community, provides care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families, making this fundraiser especially meaningful.
Promoting both health and charity is central to The Fajr Club's ethos, so this event was a perfect opportunity to combine fitness with fundraising for a worthy cause. Together, the group raised over £500, reflecting their dedication to giving back and staying active.
TOUR DE MOROCCO
The FCC riders started their three-day trip in the remote commune of Sid L'Mokhtar. Their journey would take them through Essaouira, along the coast to Safi, and finally to the edges of the busy city of Marrakech. The participants had to go through a tough physical test as they made their way through different terrains and head winds. Even though they were tired, the cyclists were able to enjoy beautiful views the whole way. They kept going because they wanted to raise money for charity, even though the rough terrain made them tired and determined. Their unwavering determination and perseverance showed that they cared about others and wanted to make their lives better.
MANCHESTER TO CARDIFF
On the 29th of July, a committed team of FCC cyclists set off on a demanding adventure from Cheadle Masjid. Their objective was to reach Cardiff in a mere two days. The journey proved to be physically challenging, as the riders covered extensive distances and encountered a variety of landscapes along the route. Despite the fatigue, the cyclists were treated to stunning vistas throughout their expedition.
